SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — The Wasatch Front Chapter (WFC) of the Barbershop Harmony Society is proud to announce the launch of 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗰, a new all-voice a cappella chorus serving the greater Salt Lake City area. Along with the announcement of Mosaic, is the introduction of it’s founding Director, 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴.

Mosaic is an ensemble years in the making, built on harmony, belonging, and bold artistic vision. Mosaic will perform a vocally sophisticated, a cappella–driven repertoire spanning contemporary pop, reimagined beloved standards, and choral works.

“Every piece we choose, every arrangement we perform, every experience we share, starts with a foundational question: What story are we telling, and why does it matter?” said Grant Goulding, Mosaic’s Frontline Musical Director and in-house arranger, “We want to make music that provokes reflection, and sparks connection. The things that linger with you afterward.”

The ensemble brings a barbershop-informed harmonic sensibility into conversation with jazz, soul, and pop influences — always in service of emotional storytelling, rich ensemble texture, and inventive arrangement.

“This is a very exciting expansion for the Wasatch Front Chapter,” said 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘁𝘁, Chapter Artistic Director and Mosaic Assistant Director, “Adding Mosaic as an ensemble alongside The Saltaires is about building a community that engages and lasts, where singers grow, audiences are moved to be involved, and the music we make together reflects the full spectrum of connection we can share.”

Mosaic’s first rehearsal will be Wednesday, April 1st from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM – a rehearsal location will be announced in the coming week. Membership is open to singers of any voice part or background. Prospective members are encouraged to schedule a personal welcome meeting with the directors. An onboarding form can be found on the Saltaires website – www.saltaires.org/avc.

Do you love to sing? Whether you belt Broadway, hum pop hits, or vibe with choral harmonies — the All-Voice Chorus (name pending!) is your new musical home.

Presented by the Wasatch Front Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society (home of the Saltaires), this is Utah’s first all-voice barbershop ensemble — an SATB chorus open to all singers, backgrounds, and experience levels. Together, we’re redefining modern barbershop with a fresh mix of pop, Broadway, jazz, and choral favorites.
